I love reading your blog and finding out about great new places in town that are fun, healthy and original. Be sure to check out Yogurtini in Zona Rosa this weekend — a new concept that is being brought to KC from the West. Additional stores are planned for tha Plaza area and Lee’s Summit. It is a serve-yourself concept with a great twist. A portion of sales this weekend will benefit the Shadow Buddies Foundation.

Please be sure to check out the new Yogurtini at 119th & Metcalf. The official grand opening celebration is on Saturday, April 23rd from 4-8pm. During the 4-hour event, all frozen yogurt is free. A portion of the sales that weekend will benefit St. Jude’s.

  10. Hi, there, we’d love for you to come and have lunch with us, try out our food and write about us. We’re actually an organic deli in a healthfood store, not a restaurant, but we’ve got a great hot case, cold case, soup, sandwich and salad bar and bakery. We’re GreenAcres Market in Briarcliff Village. Contact Shannon Hoffmann, President and store owner,at and she’ll roll out the proverbial rug for you. Tuesdays are good and not so crowded, and Thursdays are Locals Night and crowded. Hope you’ll give us a shot.
